About Awards

Designverse Awards is the world’s first design ecosystem big data research award, dedicated to honoring design institutions, enterprises, organizations, and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the greater design industry chain in the fields of space design (architecture, landscape, interior, technical consultancy, professional consultancy, specialized consultancy), product design (product design, product branding), and social innovation (brands, events). The award aims to drive sustainable development across the global design industry. 

With the core mission of Connecting Global Design Resources to Build a Data-Driven Design Value Evaluation System", Designverse Awards leverages Designverse Ranking, platform search data, and global public sentiment analysis to focus on three categories: Space Design, Product Design, and Brand/Major Events. By leading specialized subdivisions within the design industry, the award upholds the healthy and positive development of the design ecosystem.Through platform content promotion empowerment and intellectual property protection, the award provides long-term brand incubation & consulting services to applicants. It supports originality, helps participants enhance the value of their digital brand assets, secures industry recognition, and unlocks access to broader potential business opportunities.

Entry Categories

Designverse Awards 2025-2026 are structured into 5 main entry categories, each containing subcategories and subdivisions:

Space Category(4 subcategories, 93 subdivisions): scheme (architecture, landscape, interior), technical consultants (such as structural, MEP, curtain wall, etc.), professional consultants (such as curation, multimedia, etc.), specialized consultants (such as sustainable engineering consultant, etc.)

– Space Category – Concept(4 subcategories, 93 subdivisions): scheme (architecture, landscape, interior), technical consultants (such as structural, MEP, curtain wall, etc.), professional consultants (such as curation, multimedia, etc.), specialized consultants (such as sustainable engineering consultant, etc.)

Product Category(4 subcategories, 24 subdivisions): residential, office, social and leisure, transportation

Product Category – Concept(4 subcategories, 24 subdivisions): residential, office, social and leisure, transportation

Brand/Major Events Category(4 subcategories, 30 subdivisions): corporate/brand, regional/city, international projects, domestic projects

Designverse Awards is an international competition recognizing excellence in design. It includes five main categories: Space, Space – Concept, Product, Product – Concept, and Brand/Major Events. Each category features four major prizes: Nomination Prize, Special Honor Prize, Jury Grand Prize, and Outstanding Prize. Notably, the Space – Concept and Product – Concept categories include Concept Nomination Prize, Concept Special Honor Prize, Concept Jury Grand Prize, and Concept Outstanding Prize.

1.Nomination Prize: Quantity Unlimited Source Description: The list is generated from multiple sources, including Designverse Ranking, Designverse platform search IP section rankings, and comprehensive online public opinion analysis. Additionally, part of the list is derived from industry nominations and self-submissions. For details, please refer to "04 Evaluation Mechanism – First Stage: Preliminary Data Based Review". *The number of projects for Nomination Prize in all of the 237 subcategories is unlimited.

  1. Special Honor Prize: Top 3 in each subcategory, maximum number – 426 186 Special Honor Prize in Space Category 132 Special Honor Prize in Space Category – Concept 48 Special Honor Prize in Product Category 48 Special Honor Prize in Product Category – Concept 12 Special Honor Prize in Annual Brands/Big Events Category *Space Category, Space Category – Concept, Product Category, Product Category – Concept: For each of the 207 subcategories, the top 3 entries will be awarded the Special Honor Prize. Brand/Major Events Category: From the top 3 entries of each of the 30 subcategories, 12 will be selected and awarded the Special Honor Prize.
  2. Jury Grand Prize: Top 1 in each subcategory, maximum number – 211 93 Jury Grand Prize in Space Category 66 Jury Grand Prize in Space Category -Concept 24 Jury Grand Prize in Product Category 24 Jury Grand Prize in Product Category – Concept 4 Jury Grand Prize in Annual Brands/Big Events Category *Space Category, Space Category – Concept, Product Category, Product Category – Concept: For each of the 207 subcategories, the top 1 entry will be awarded the Jury, Grand Prize. Brand/Major Events Category: From the top 1 entry of each of the 30 subcategories, 4 will be selected and awarded the Jury Grand Prize.
  3. Outstanding Prize: selected from all Top 1 subcategories, maximum number – 21, 6 Outstanding Prize in Space Category (Architecture, Landscape, Interior, Technical Consultant, Professional Consultant, Special Consultant), 6 Outstanding Prize in Space Category – Concept (Architecture, Landscape, Interior, Technical Consultant, Professional Consultant, Special Consultant) 4 Outstanding Prize in Product Category (Residential, Office, Social Leisure, Transportation) 4 Outstanding Prize in Product Category – Concept (Residential, Office, Social Leisure, Transportation) 2 Outstanding Prize in Annual Brands/Big Events Category *Without distinguishing between subcategories, 21 selections were chosen from the top 1 in all of the subcategories to be awarded the Outstanding Prize. Evaluation Mechanism (Evaluation Process & Jury Panel) 

The Designverse Awards evaluation mechanism consists of preliminary data based review which involves statistical analysis, search, and ranking based on global design industry information—and a final selection through voting by a jury panel composed of industry leaders and renowned experts. Evaluation Process

  1. First Stage: Preliminary Data Based Review The Designverse Big Data Research Center supports the awards committee by leveraging global design industry data for statistical analysis, search rankings, and references. This process helps generate Nomination Prize (unlimited) and Special Honor Prize (Top 3 in each subcategory).
  2. Space Category (architectural design, landscape design, interior design): Evaluation references include designverse platform search results, Designverse Ranking, and comprehensive online public opinion analysis data. 
  3. Space Category (technical consultants, professional consultants, specialized consultants): Evaluation references include designverse platform search results and related information from Designverse Ranking for the architecture, landscape, and interior subcategories. Additional references include comprehensive online public opinion analysis and industry designer nominations.
  4. Product Category: The Designverse Big Data Research Center gathers reference data for evaluation through designverse platform searches, online e-commerce platforms, and multidimensional public opinion analysis.
  5. Brand/Major Events Category: This category is evaluated through comprehensive coverage and discovery of various sources, including traditional media, online/new media, social media, forums, and more. A continuously updated database enables tracking, integrating, and analyzing brand-related digital assets, online public sentiment, communication volume, and activity concentration related to design-focused brands and major events. These insights contribute to the overall IP section ranking on the designverse platform, which serves as a key criterion for awards.
  6. Self-submitted and other sourced projects: All self-submitted institutions, projects, and those from other sources will be evaluated based on A-D criteria, utilizing designverse platform search rankings and Designverse Ranking as award evaluation references.
  7. Second Stage: Jury Panel Voting Selection The jury panel votes based on Innovation (40%), Sustainability (30%), and Social Impact (30%) to determine the Jury Grand Prize (Top 1 in each subcategory) and the Outstanding Prize (21 outstanding selections across all categories).

Jury Panel

The jury panel consists of 36 global industry leaders and renowned experts, including: 12 representatives from international development institutions, 12 representatives from domestic development institutions, and 12 representatives from internationally recognized and well-known domestic brands.

The panel members possess deep insights into the design industry ecosystem, extensive collaborative experience, unique judgment, a global perspective, and expertise in leading acclaimed projects. They evaluate entries through a scoring system combined with written comments, selecting winners for the Jury Grand Prize in the Space, Space – Concept, Product, Product – Concept, and Brand/Major Events categories. From these, the panel further selects 21 Outstanding Prize winners, distributed as follows: 6 in the Space Category (architecture, landscape, interior, technical consultant, professional consultant, specialized consultant), 6 in the Space Category – Concept (architecture, landscape, interior, technical consultant, professional consultant, specialized consultant), 4 in the Product / Product – Concept categories (Residential, Office, Social and Leisure, Transportation), and 2 in the Brand/Major Events Category (corporate/brand, regional/city, international project, domestic project). Each jury member has the right to directly nominate two institutions for the Nomination Prize and to propose a Special Jury Prize.

The final jury panel of the Designverse Awards 2025-2026 consists of 36 jurors who are design and development brand experts, including Li Hu, Libin Chen, Li Xiang, Tony Brown, Li Mengdi, Penghui, Adam Li Mengzhou, Cindy Zhou, Tomus Hu, Liu Yichun, Yantian Zhou, Alessio Zhang, David Mohney, Yang Xiaodong, Shikyo Fu, Shao Shu, Eidy Wang, Hanson Wang, Zhu Xiaofeng, Tao Zhang, Michael Mesaric, Wang Hui, Dennis Tu, Pingjie Du, Chris Chen, Yanguo Cai, Ingres Zheng, Jacques Ferrier, Ray Bai, Meng Fanhao, Taku Hibino, Taeg Nishimoto, Huo Zhongyan, Zhang Changcheng, Zhong Ming, Cai Yidong. Entry Requirements

  1. The Designverse Awards are open for global registration. Spatial design agencies, product design agencies, brands/enterprises, and brands/major events planning/operating agencies are all eligible to apply.
  2. Participating works must have been completed within the past five years. Works completed/purchased/used between April 1, 2020 and the deadline for registration of this award.You can have your submitted works publicly announced on the official designverse website after registration and submission.
  3. There is no time or space limit for concept works, such as past bidding, unrealized designs, projects under construction or designs that have not been put into production. Entries in the Space Category – Concept must demonstrate innovation, forward-thinking vision, and sustainability, while entries in the Product Category – Concept should showcase technological advancements and breakthroughs in user experience.
  4. Participants must be legal entities or individuals with primary responsibility, including but not limited to manufacturers and distributors of goods, building owners, software or media suppliers, project developers, and research sponsors.
  5. For works involving multiple participants, joint registration is allowed. One party must be designated as the main participant, and all other members must be registered on the designverse platform.
  6. Participants must own the copyright of their submitted works and ensure there are no intellectual property disputes. When applying, they must carefully fill in the registration details, including institution profile, logo, and visual/text materials of the work. Once awarded, the submitted information cannot be arbitrarily modified.
