[Text as submitted by architect] S place is a small community mall located on Pattanakarn Road, designed as a place for relaxation and a convenient stop amid the busy traffic of Bangkok. It aims to serve as a leisure destination for families and people of all ages, from children to adults. The project features a variety of small shops catering to modern lifestyles, including coffee shops, beauty salons, restaurants, and health-oriented supermarkets.
Architecturally, the mall consists of three main buildings connected by walkways, all two stories high, surrounding a central open space that serves as a multi-purpose area for events and a relaxing spot during normal hours. A playground is also included in the area. This layout provides shade in the central courtyard throughout the day, enhancing the user experience.
The buildings are designed to feel open and inviting, resembling a cluster of residential houses, with exteriors made primarily of metal sheets and steel frames. The use of light, soothing colors contributes to a relaxing atmosphere, making S place an ideal spot for everyday leisure.
