Ar. Santhana Krishnan, a distinguished architect, forged his professional path after earning his B.Arch degree in 2017 from Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Hosur. Fueled by a passion for architecture, he honed his skills at Vinu Ponnappa’s practice in Bangalore before co-founding Outlined with Ar. Karthick. This marked the inception of his independent venture, where he carved a unique identity for the firm. In a pivotal juncture, he furthered his expertise by obtaining a master’s degree in sustainability from Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore, in 2023, adding a profound dimension to his commitment to innovative and sustainable design.

Ar. Karthick, an accomplished architect, embarked on his professional journey after earning his B.Arch degree in 2012 from Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Hosur. Following a stint at Vinu Ponnappa’s practice in Bangalore, his ardent passion for architecture led him to co-found Outlined with Ar. Santhana Krishnan, establishing their own practice. Since then, Ar. Karthick has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s distinct identity, contributing his expertise and vision to the realm of innovative architectural design.
Practice Ideology
Outlined, a passionate and innovative Architecture and Interior Design firm based in Coimbatore, was established by Karthick in 2016.
The firm is headed by Karthick and Santhana Krishnan. And the firm has worked on a wide range of projects, including the architecture and interiors of residences, Commercial buildings, Retail establishments, and Hospitality projects. Drawing inspiration from the regional vernacular and with a focus on craftsmanship, The Firm Outlined has created buildings that are both modern and contextually sensitive. Through its work, the firm has earned a reputation for innovation and attention to detail, and the projects are praised for their unique modern style yet timeless appeal.
