About Competition
The Goldreed Industrial Design Award (GIDA) is a prestigious international design competition, now in its sixth edition. Promoted by the Xiong’an Future Industrial Design Institute, this award honors projects and companies pushing the boundaries of design and innovation, recognized for their global reach. GIDA focuses on core values such as leading new industrial development, creating a new way of social life, and fostering harmonious development between humans and nature. This year, submissions are accepted across diverse categories including Manufacturing Equipment, Biomedical Science, Digital Technology, Transportation, Public Services, and Future Scenario. Better Design Award
Goldreed Industrial Design Award (“GIDA” for short), based in Xiongan New Area of China, is an international design prize driven by globalization, specialization and market orientation. The prize is created to discover the future design, inspire the future life and enable the future city by exploring the Chinese concept of “harmony and peace” and attracting the global innovation featuring artificial intelligence and sustainability.
Desall (media partner) is an open innovation platform that brings together renowned brands with a community of designers and creatives from different cultural backgrounds and a variety of creative industries. The platform facilitates participatory design and project development through customised competitions organised, run and promoted by Desall in collaboration with its clients. Participants in the competitions are part of Desall’s growing community, a creative powerhouse with over 150,000 members, able to deliver high-quality solutions for every stage of product development desired by clients – from concept to product design, from naming to packaging. Through its sister company Factory08, Desall has also been offering product industrialisation services since 2018. The focus is on the engineering and development of industrial automation systems that meet the latest standards of Industry 4.0 technology. To date, Desall has launched more than 250 activities and fostered the emergence of more than 42,000 creative projects.
