Khuôn Studio was founded in 2015 by Architect Huynh Anh Tuan, beginning with the Kom Tum House Project. From the outset, the studio has focused on thoughtful spatial design and the use of customized airbricks, a distinctive feature that has become a hallmark of its identity. In fact, the pattern of the airbricks from this first project inspired the studio’s logo.

Huynh Anh Tuan’s fascination with airbrick patterns dates back to his student days at Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture, when he was captivated by the rich architectural heritage of Saigon. Buildings such as the Independence Palace, the Women’s Museum, and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy showcased diverse airbrick designs that harmonized with the urban environment, inspiring him to explore their applications in Vietnam’s tropical climate.

This passion led to the establishment of Khuôn Studio, with the goal of creating unique architectural identities through the use of molded concrete airbricks. Over the past five years, the studio has completed a range of projects featuring increasingly refined solutions that balance aesthetics and functionality.

Khuôn Studio remains committed to designing with care and creativity, grateful to the clients who have trusted them to bring their ideas to life. The studio looks forward to collaborating with more clients who share its vision of high-quality, thoughtful design.
