Each year, UnIATA introduces a new wave of promising and highly skilled talents to the global stage. For the 2026 cycle, the competition seeks emerging professionals who are equipped and motivated to tackle the diverse challenges of the built environment with fresh perspectives and resilient design strategies.

UnIATA serves as a catalyst for innovative thinking, bridging the gap between academic research and practical architectural application. Now in its eighth edition for 2026, the UNI International Architecture Thesis Award reinforces its dedication to recognizing visionary projects that push the boundaries of conventional design.
Scope and Participation
This year’s edition invites outstanding graduate and undergraduate projects completed between May 2024 and June 2026. The competition embraces a diverse spectrum of ideas, encompassing solutions from key global regions across seven continents.
Following the success of previous editions—including the recently concluded UnIATA ’25—which set new benchmarks for conceptual innovation, UnIATA ’26 aims to raise the bar even higher. We invite submissions that not only demonstrate technical excellence but also embody the social, environmental, and futuristic ethos of modern architecture.
