About Competition
Schrödinger’s Room is an international conceptual architecture competition inviting participants to design a room—real or imagined—that explores uncertainty, perception, and emotion. Inspired by quantum superposition, the room becomes a perceptual installation that changes meaning with each observer.
Participants are asked to create a bounded space where light, matter, sound, and human presence shape shifting, personal experiences. The scale is free; what matters is the ability to express ambiguity and multiple interpretations.
Design not just a room—but an experience that challenges perception and imagination.
