Prizes

The Dedalo Minosse International Prize, founded in 1997 and promoted by ALA – Assoarchitetti, is held every two years in Vicenza, Italy. It recognizes the crucial role of architectural clients in fostering quality design and promotes international exchange among architects and clients.

The Prize’s venue remains in Vicenza due to its architectural heritage, international recognition in classical architecture, and strong business culture that merges art and enterprise. The award honors clients who invest resources—cultural, ideal, and material—in creating exceptional projects.

The Prize follows five key stages:

1- Call for Entries – Open to public and private clients worldwide.

2- Jury Session – Evaluates works based on sustainability, technological innovation, heritage conservation, and integration of architecture with local traditions.

3- Main Event – A three-day celebration in Palladian sites, culminating in an award ceremony at the Olympic Theater and an exhibition in the Basilica Palladiana.

4- Client Forum – A series of discussions, roundtables, and conferences with leading architecture professionals.

5- Itinerant Exhibition – Showcases winning projects in various locations across Italy and globally.

Open to both Italian and international clients, the Prize welcomes projects of any scale as long as they were completed within the last five years. A special section is dedicated to clients who support young designers under 40, offering them international exposure.

With participation from over 60 countries, the Prize fosters architectural excellence by highlighting the collaboration between clients and designers. Registration is free and open online from February 17 to May 21, 2025. More details are available at www.dedalominosse.org.
