Pedram Ezadi Bourojeni
Pedram Ezadi leads his practice, Ezadi Architecture, in Isfahan. Throughout his twelve years of professional experience in architecture, he has remained deeply engaged in both the practical and theoretical aspects of his profession. His interest in architecture has evolved from the growing trend of “bulk building” in cities of all sizes to a profound concern for land health and the dynamic relationship between land and its people in Iran. This includes considerations of energy costs, local and native architecture, and the diverse land formations across different regions of the country.
Practice Ideology
Ezadi Architecture designed and implemented some residential projects, most of them in rural contexts, highlighting historic Iranian architecture in order to provide sound knowledge for the construction of contemporary buildings that are architecturally valuable and socially responsive based on the environmental and cultural traditions in Iran. Using vernacular wisdom and local materials and labour, an attempt was made to produce environmentally friendly architectural buildings that reflect the philosophy of connecting architecture with its surroundings, enhancing the quality of life for users and the community, prioritizing sustainable practices and materials, reducing construction costs, promoting energy efficiency, and encouraging community interaction in modern language.
