Ashish Solanki

Ashish, an alumnus of CEPT University Ahmedabad, collaborated with the esteemed scenographer and Padma Vibhushan awardee Shri Rajeev Sethi, contributing to numerous national and international scenography and design projects. During his tenure as a scenographer, Ashish collaborated with diverse artists, artisans, and designers from across India. Drawing from this rich experience, Ashish incorporated this knowledge into his own practice, merging his passion for art with his architectural background. The inception of PEOPLE COLLAGE emerged from this very journey, involving individuals from various disciplines. With over a decade of expertise in both architecture and scenography, Ashish continues to pursue his love for art while staying rooted in his architectural foundation.

 

Mrinal Bhatt

Having pursued her education at CEPT University Ahmedabad and an exchange programme at ZHAW Switzerland, Mrinal currently holds the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor at Anant National University. She is dedicated to bridging the gap between architectural practice & academic teaching and maintains a fine balance between the two. Her passion for learning, teaching and translating her knowledge manifests in a grounded approach to architecture and design with a distinctive Indian influence. Her organic design process involves using art as a method of inquiry where she employs various artistic media to enrich her creative endeavours that bring an edge to the practice

 

 

Practice Ideology

PEOPLE COLLAGE is an interdisciplinary and collaborative practice based in Ahmedabad, India. The name PEOPLE COLLAGE becomes self-explanatory in the said context. Our practice is an intersection of Architecture, Design and Scenography. Our larger goal is to create and enhance architecture using experiential art as a medium.
