Keiichiro Sako
Keiichiro Sako was born in Fukuoka, Japan, in 1970. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1994 and a master’s degree in 1996. He worked for Riken Yamamoto & Field Shop from 1996 to 2004. In 2004, he founded SAKO Architects. In addition, he served as a visiting scholar at GSAPP, Columbia University, from 2004 to 2005.
Practice Ideology
SAKO Architects was established as the first architectural design firm in China, founded by Japanese architect Keiichiro Sako. Since then, the firm has established offices in Tokyo and Fukuoka and has completed over 160 projects in Japan, China, Korea, Mongolia, and Spain.
Project requirements vary widely. In order to achieve the best results for each, SAKO has a wide variety of designs to achieve the best possible results for each project.
