[Text as submitted by architect] A rising demand for lifestyle homes that encompass safety features and recreational facilities from young families and upgraders has led to the launch of Eco Ardence, a joint venture between EcoWorld and Cascara Sdn Bhd. In 2019, a new phase of landed homes was branded as Cora and launched, with the developers engaging ONG&ONG for their architectural services.

For Cora, the team organised the development into clusters to foster a sense of neighbourhood and belonging. Green spaces are strategically integrated throughout the estate, providing residents with access to nature and recreational areas. The planning also includes efficient infrastructure for transportation, waste management, and water conservation, aligning with the broader goals of Eco Ardence to promote an eco-friendly and sustainable lifestyle.

For 146 units within the Cora collection, the design by ONG&ONG features a blend of contemporary and zen-inspired architectural styles. Each unit follows a similar design philosophy but remains unique, offering variety and individuality to the residents. The interiors are characterised by clean lines, minimalist finishes, and the use of natural materials to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Meanwhile, public spaces within Cora are thoughtfully designed to encourage social interaction and community engagement, with amenities such as parks, playgrounds, and communal gardens.

One of the significant challenges the team faced during the Cora project was the pandemic, where the team had to adapt to managing the construction stage online. This required scheduling online meetings, ensuring effective communication, and making sure all parties understood the project design and timeline. Despite these challenges, the team successfully navigated the obstacles, maintaining progress and ensuring the project was completed.
