[Text as submitted by architect] When the owner, a new-generation executive, decided to make the workplace have a modern and appealing image suitable for the services offered to clients, the project involved a three-story, four-connected row house. The owner consulted with the design team at 9kampanad, sharing their vision. Upon inspecting the possibilities of the desired changes, the architects found that the building’s structure was strong enough to support the new program. They then began studying the business and the space requirements for the building.

The architects discovered that the organization operates almost entirely in a paperless system, with work done solely on computers, and the workforce consists entirely of younger people. Clients also visit the office regularly. Once they understood the basic processes and the overall needs of the space, they proposed a concept to give the organization a strong, modern image that would connect all departments and areas into a unified workspace, unlike before, where each person worked independently.

The design communicates the brand directly through the use of the organization’s primary colors, which became key elements in the design of the project. The architects called the central area “The Blue Rolling Core.” Starting from the existing row house, they demolished, drilled, and added structures, as well as revamped the building’s main circulation systems, to create a dynamic, inspiring environment for employees.

Natural light was brought in through the roof and distributed throughout the interior, creating a space that changes in beauty according to the angle of natural light at different times of the day. This brings a sense of joy and energy to the people within the space while also significantly reducing electricity usage for lighting.

Additionally, each floor was supplemented with greenery distributed throughout the office, in both the walkways and work areas, to maintain a balance between work and life. As a result, the building enhances the employees’ work efficiency by providing an inspiring workplace and also earns client approval when they visit, thanks to the organization’s image aligning well with the owner’s business model.
