Lisbon Design Week is an annual cultural event held in Lisbon that highlights contemporary design and high craft while celebrating the talents of the city’s creative community. Taking place each year in May alongside the ARCO Lisbon art fair, the festival aims to serve as a unifying platform that supports the cultural avant-garde, uncovers emerging local talent, and energizes the city’s economy by promoting excellence in design.
The fourth edition of Lisbon Design Week is scheduled to run from May 27 to May 31, 2026, and will feature artistic and collectible contemporary design as well as high craft, with a particular emphasis on handmade works produced in Portugal. The previous edition brought together more than 250 makers across over 95 venues throughout Lisbon, expanding its reach into new neighborhoods such as Ajuda and Marvila.
