Caleb Ferro
Shaped by his Goan-Gujarati roots and Ahmedabadi upbringing, Caleb carries a deep sensitivity to context, culture, and craft in his work. With foundations in architecture from CEPT University, he is passionate about exploring and working with different materials and structures to unravel their full potential. When away from the drafting table, Caleb is passionate about music and sports; he has trained in western classical violin and is an avid cricketer. He brings the same rhythm, discipline, rigor, and playfulness to his design practice.
Practice Ideology
We are Playce Studio, an architecture and interior design practice that is re-imagining spaces by embracing ‘play’ – a mindset for inventive problem-solving, material pairings, experiential design.
For us architectural design is more than just building structures; it is about building in place and crafting spaces that foster connection and enrich everyday living. Every project – from intimate interiors to large institutions – is an opportunity to merge function with imagination through the practice of play. A home that feels personal, yet expansive, a workspace that fosters creativity, or a public space that strengthens community – all with an aesthetic that is rooted, yet contemporary.
