Neenu has independently led Studio 74051 since 2016.
Practice Ideology
Neenu founded Studio 74051 in 2016 as a single-person architectural practice and continues to lead it independently. She takes on a limited number of projects at a time with the sole aim of running a practice focused on her clients. She considers it a privilege to be part of their lives, building the homes of their dreams with intensity and passion over the course of each project.
Over the last nine years, she has built a portfolio that includes twelve completed homes for twelve families and five ongoing residential projects.
The brief for each project remains pretty much standard to this day. Light, Ventilation Three/four bedroom, kitchen, utility, living and dining. Finding the clients in this brief is what defines her work. Once that is done, she focuses solely on building a space.
Space, that invokes a feeling of comfort for the clients that I came to know..
Space, that reminds someone of their childhood.
Space, that makes them want to take a pause.
Space, that makes them want to stay in on a rainy day.
Space, that they claim to be their own.
