Karan Makwana
Karan Makwana is an Architect and Co-founder of The Local Crew. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture, CEPT University, Ahmedabad. As the design lead of the practice, he specializes in architectural design and space planning, translating ideas into thoughtful, functional, and context-sensitive environments. Beyond design, Karan oversees the firm’s overall operations, managing projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion. His leadership plays a key role in maintaining the studio’s design quality, workflow, and client experience.
Sagar Vadher
Sagar Vadher is an Architect and Co-founder of The Local Crew. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture, CEPT University, Ahmedabad. He is actively involved in developing innovative design concepts while overseeing site execution to ensure that every project is realized with precision and attention to detail. Alongside his design and site responsibilities, Sagar plays a key role in business development, leading client relations and bringing new projects to the practice, contributing significantly to the firm’s continued growth.
Parth Prajapati
Parth Prajapati is an Architect and Co-founder of The Local Crew. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture, CEPT University, Ahmedabad. He leads the firm’s interior and landscape design, creating spaces that are functional, cohesive, and contextually responsive. With a strong focus on spatial planning and design, Parth plays a key role in shaping the overall experience of each project, ensuring a seamless integration of architecture, interiors, and landscape.
Practice Ideology
The Local Crew is a multidisciplinary firm specializing in Architecture, Interior design, Landscape design, and 3D visualization. The firm is run by five partners with different inclinations and interests, working collaboratively under the same idea. The practice was established in 2019 and to date has designed and catered to a wide range of projects ranging from the farmhouse, residence, offices, and few apartments interiors.
At The Local Crew, we believe in providing sensitive solutions to the people, which affect their daily lives. The project is carefully approached, primarily focusing on people and their experiences. The client requirements are sensitively thought of and translated into a design that is guided by sustainability at its heart. The project is further enriched by intense research involving the use of local materials with local building techniques.
