About Competition
The Radicepura Garden Festival 2027 announces an international open call for ideas competition aimed at selecting designers to create eight temporary gardens for its sixth edition, themed “Gardens of Hope: Cultivating Coexistence.” Open to young professionals and multidisciplinary teams under 37, the competition unfolds in two phases: an initial concept submission followed by a detailed project stage for shortlisted candidates.
Key dates include the Phase 1 submission deadline on October 30, 2026, with finalists announced on November 30, 2026; Phase 2 deadline on January 5, 2027, and winners revealed on January 15, 2027. The selected projects will be built between February and April 2027, with the festival opening in May 2027.
