Nasos Antachopoulos
Nasos Antachopoulos was born in Amman, Jordan, in 1955. His academic journey began with studies in Urban Planning in the United Kingdom from 1974 to 1975, followed by architectural studies at AUT from 1975 to 1977 and later at NTUA from 1977 to 1981. Between 1984 and 2011, he co-operated an architectural office with Maria Athanasiadou. Since 2011, he has been working in partnership with Yannis Younis at A6A.
Yannis Younis
Yannis Younis, born in Athens in 1980, pursued his architectural studies at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) from 1998 to 2004. He began his professional journey as an associate architect at M. Manios Structural Engineering Office, where he worked from 2004 to 2006. He then joined Ioakim–Loizas Architectural Office, serving as an associate architect between 2007 and 2008. From 2008 to 2011, worked at Al. Karidis Architectural-Urban Planning Office. Since 2011, he has been working in partnership with Nasos Antachopoulos at A6A.
Practice Ideology
The practice, established years ago with a focus on conventional architectural study and supervision, quickly recognized the challenges in bringing projects to life. While the phases of architectural study—design, 3D renderings, and models—are essential, they are merely tools toward the final result. Over time, it became clear that beyond technical expertise, the quality of collaboration and mutual understanding among all stakeholders is critical to a project’s success. Building trust-based relationships with clients became a cornerstone of the practice.
The collaboration often begins with advice on acquiring land, buildings, or apartments and continues through project completion and utilization. The scope of engagement is tailored to the specific needs of each project.
With experience spanning family homes, vacation properties, housing complexes, apartment renovations, office spaces, hotels, and factories, the practice has honed its expertise across diverse architectural challenges.
