Practice Ideology
Za Mák is a landscape architecture studio based in Jindřichův Hradec and operating throughout the Czech Republic. Our goal is to find the soul in seemingly lost places and sensitively transform them so that others can also perceive their genius loci.
We are enthusiastic about urban and rural landscapes and are intensively searching for ways to transform them into a fully-fledged and sustainable system within human settlements. In our work, we pay careful attention to context, connections, and harmony with the surroundings. Our portfolio includes small buildings for private investors as well as large projects in public spaces. The common denominator is simplicity and authenticity of expression, together with an emphasis on practical and comfortable use.
