Practice Ideology

Aura Architecture Studio is a Delhi-based architecture and interior design practice founded in 2020 by Ar. Tawish Tayal. The studio is built on the belief that meaningful spaces emerge from nature, context and a deep connection to people.

At Aura, design is viewed as a journey that blends sustainability, functionality and emotion. Every space is crafted to engage the senses and to create a lasting bond between people and their environment. The practice works across architecture, interiors, urban design and construction, integrating creativity with technical precision to deliver holistic, experience-driven spaces.

Over the years, Aura has successfully completed a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, institutional and urban projects. Each reflects a commitment to contextual design, material honesty and environmental sensitivity, emphasizing natural light, ventilation and the seamless relationship between built and unbuilt spaces.

The studio’s philosophy is rooted in nature-centric and experiential design, where every project tells a story about its place, its users and its time. From intimate homes to large-scale developments, Aura’s work aims to bring calm, balance and purpose into the built environment.

Aura’s projects have been featured in leading design publications including ArchDaily, Architect’s Diary, Livingetc and Buildofy, showcasing the studio’s growing contribution to India’s contemporary architectural narrative.

Guided by curiosity, collaboration, and care, Aura Architecture Studio continues to shape spaces that are sustainable, sensorial and timeless.
