Jagrut Shah
Jagrut Shah is a practicing architect based out of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He is a graduate of Gujarat University and worked with noted architects of Ahmedabad for 2 years before starting his own practice in 2016.
Keval Vadaliya
Ar. Keval Vadaliya graduated from Gujarat University, after which he gained work experience in Mumbai for 3 years before moving back to Ahmedabad. He joined JSA in 2017, bringing his guidance to the firm.
Practice Ideology
The architecture and interior design practice is focused on keeping up with current design trends in the market, while always considering timeless, evergreen styles. This balance is reflected in their selection of building materials and the design of spatial volumes. The principle of “Less is More” is their guiding philosophy, although it often requires considerable effort to convince clients of its value.
In their design approach, respect for natural elements, maximizing light, and taking advantage of surrounding views are essential aspects. While they have a strong inclination to experiment with design, the extent of this experimentation depends on the relationship between the architect and the client. These experiments may not always be grand in scale but often involve innovative details, such as staircase scaffolding, space-saving convertible furniture, staircase design, or building façades. Additionally, they draw inspiration from experimental designs and new projects taking place around the world.
