Practice Ideology
“REC FOR RECREATION”
REC is a team of landscape designers and technicians driven by the mind of recreation. We highlight the importance of “leisure landscapes”—fostering a sustainable ecology between people and nature through spatial design. Our work is an exploration of sublime places where enriching pleasure and memorable experiences emerge through creativity.
REC STUDIO COMPANY LIMITED (2022), founded by Krit Thienvutichai and Nattanit Eksangkul as a second-generation landscape design studio based in Bangkok, Thailand, following the legacy of Landscape Planning Company Limited (1989), founded by Chaiyut Thienvutichai. We are a reformed team of experienced and emerging landscape designers and technicians, working collaboratively to deliver landscape design solutions centered on the idea of people, space, and nature. Our expertise spans a wide range of project types and scales, including residential, commercial, hospitality, institutional, parks, public spaces, master planning, and large-scale ecosystem design.
