Project Description

[Text as submitted by architect] This project focuses on the renovation of the first floor office of Yoshida Lumber Company, whose main business is the processing of purchased lumber.

The client wanted an office-centered space, but in order to showcase the company’s processing technology to visitors, we proposed an office with showroom-like elements.

All fixtures such as desks, shelves, and counters were manufactured by Yoshida Lumber.

While keeping in mind the harmony and unity of the entire space, we varied the wood species and processing expressions of the fixtures to create a design that would appeal to the company’s technological capabilities.
