We invite you to participate in an intensive workshop on construction in bamboo and straw toquilla!
During an 8-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of these materials:
- Types of bamboo
- Harvesting and curing techniques
- Assembly and construction methods
In addition, you will have the opportunity to be an active part of the construction of the Palenque de Libertad, a community project that uses bamboo and straw toquilla.
Workshop Date: Thursday April 17, 2025
Location: Portete Island (5 minutes from Mompiche)
