The Evolving Language of Light – Utility, Design and Well-Being only at LED Expo New Delhi 2025
Long before a building becomes iconic, before its lines are admired or its scale is celebrated, it is light that breathes life into the space, giving it soul, character and emotion. From the glow of boutique storefront to the shimmering wash of a hotel façade, the lighting industry has quietly evolved into design’s most emotional language. In India, this conversation with light will enter a bold new chapter – one that finds its stage at the 30th grand edition of LED Expo New Delhi 2025.
Spanning across 14,000 sqm, the expo has evolved into more than just an exhibition. It is a lens into the future of how India will live, work and experience its built environment. With 250+ exhibitors and 75 first-time participating companies, it becomes a canvas for the ideas where over – 6,000 products and 2,000 brands reveal the possibilities of design, efficiency and technology.
The focus this year reflects the expanding vocabulary of light:
- Solar lighting responds to sustainability.
- Electrical products shaping advanced functionality.
- Façade lighting is emerging as a storyteller of architecture and design.
- Human-centric lighting solutions approach that aligns with the body’s natural rhythm and environments
Alongside the leaders and innovators from India, the show will present international participation from China, Dubai, Germany, Hong Kong and South Korea. Together, they will unveil over 60 new product launches, reinforcing that lighting is not only limited to visibility but also about shaping identity and spatial experience.
The Indian lighting market size is pegged at USD 354.33 million in 2025 and is expected to touch 596.21 million by 2030 at a CAGR of 10.97% according to Mordor Intelligence. India’s manufacturing segment is a critical pillar of economic growth. Particularly for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the expo will feature a dedicated MSME Pavilion featuring over 40+ companies, reflecting India’s growing stature as a manufacturing hub and the Indian government’s continued push under the ‘Make in India’ initiative to empower small and medium enterprises associated with the lighting industry.
With the upcoming edition of LED Expo New Delhi scheduled from 27 – 29 November 2025 at Yashobhoomi (IICC, Dwarka), New Delhi, the show will not only celebrate its decades of industry leadership but will also celebrate light as a design’s most poetic medium, one that can transform a skyline, a room, or even a fleeting moment into an experience. The show will present a dedicated session titled Design by Day, Illuminate by Night, bringing together the visionaries from the industry to decode light as both craft and conscience. In India, where modernity and tradition meet in striking juxtapositions, lighting has become more than a utility – it is an evolving art form at the intersection of design, technology and sustainability.
The expo has received support from Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL), Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Council of Architecture (COA), Federation of Hotels and Restaurant association of India (FHRAI), International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), Luminaire Accessories Components Manufacturers Association (LACMA), Lighting Designers Association of India (LiDAI), UP Architects Association and Women in Lighting (WIL).
