TEJ House, designed by Neogenesis+Studi0261, is an architecture project that tries to achieve a contemporary idiom out of conventional materials. The architectural planning and built form of the building are formulated with the placement of three distinct blocks, varying in dimensions, connected by a common plinth and parabolic roof, giving it a monolithic elevational expression yet a functional separation in terms of utility.

LE’PRECIOUS by Salone Del Salon is an interior design project that seamlessly blends two clues of time and emotional transition into the space. By incorporating the passage of time from dusk to dawn and by depicting the emotional changes from excitement and anticipation to moments of confusion and anxiety, and finally to a sense of fulfillment and hope, the space truly captures the essence of the transitional moments of sentiments.

Le XV by TAA (Taillandier Architectes Associés) is a housing project that creates a structured entrance to the city which defines the urban space while creating a landscaped public garden. This project is above all an urban project which must ensure a transition between the station square and the historic heart of the village. The buildings are therefore naturally located along this road in order to maintain the alignment, to structure the road and especially the entrance to the town.

Owl Creek Ski House by Skylab is built on the idea that a physical place can deepen the connections between friends, families, and nature. The idea was to create a number of common areas with a lodge-like feel, all surrounded by locally sourced, naturally worn materials, with minimal visual distinction from the outdoors. This home emphasises improving and reviving social ties and fostering connections to the local environment.

Shiva Stuthi by Wright Inspires is an architecture project that creates dramatic visuals and indelible memories by incorporating free-flowing and peaceful living spaces. The home incidentally features three eye-like skylights that can be allegorically associated with Lord Shiva. The plan and the volume of the spaces were therefore worked on carefully to improve the efficiency of the built spaces that blend in seamlessly with the exterior.

Joana’s (Apartment) by TriKa Arquitetura is home interior project that renovates a comparted house into a cozy, modern and versatile space in order to meet the needs of a toddler’s upbringing. The goal of the project was to convert compartmentalised and dedicated spaces to more flexible usage that promoted cohesion. The apartment removes some of the divisions from the original plan so that uses could overlap as spaces became more continuous.

The Regimented House by LIJO.RENY.architects follows a simple yet formal built form, with the large front yard and backyard being divided by hard landscaping grids to establish a sense of boundary. A grid layout was designed to incorporate various types of landscaped courts that helped in effectively blending the residence with nature and lessen its otherwise imposing presence.

Open plan mid-century house by AGORA architecture + design is an interior design project that focuses on renovation of a fragmented layout. An L-shaped living space is created, oriented towards the back garden, and the walls to the old kitchen and hall were removed to open up the space. The resulting spaces are calm and relaxed, with enough room to accommodate large gatherings while having more intimate spaces for cosy nights by the fire.

The spaces at ground level are laid out in such a way that they connect to the outside by taking advantage of the margins through the entry verandah. Shenzhen Women & Children’s Centre by MVRDV is an architectural project that sets a vital example for adaptive reuse of buildings in the city. MVRDV designed a comprehensive transformation that would allow the building’s structure to be reused, rather than demolishing and rebuilding.
