Gayatri Deshmukh
Co – founder & principal architect
Gayatri Deshmukh is an Architect, Conservation Architect holding a graduate degree from Pune University and a master’s in architectural conservation from CEPT University, Ahmedabad.
She is the co-founder of Gayatri Lokesh Architects LLP, a firm that is dedicated to delivering bespoke design solutions tailored to the unique requirements of each project.
Additionally, she is an associate at Tejaswini Aphale Associates, Pune she contributes her expertise to conservation projects that safeguard historical and cultural landmarks. Her work is distinguished by dedication to integrating technological advancements with traditional knowledge systems. Her professional experience spans a diverse range of architectural firms, encompassing both commercial and conservation projects in Pune and Mumbai.
Lokesh Kadam
Co – founder & principal architect, BIM, B.Arch.
As an architect Lokesh is dedicated to translating complex, large-scale briefs into refined architectural realities. Graduated from Pune University, his experience spans major institutional, resort, and high-end residential projects across India. He combines rigorous technical expertise with a deeply context-driven approach to design execution.
His previous experiences had a great influence on his methodology for design process. Experience at Studio humane, Pune, enforced the practice of keen observation and understanding of modern architecture while experience at Architecture brio, Mumbai ingrained the flexibility and adaption of various philosophies in ideation and exploration through questioning the requirement, site characteristic, innovative form study. With these and his personal liking for understanding context and timeless design, he is constantly on a quest to find relevance and give justice to the project to the utmost possible way.
Practice Ideology
Curiosity drives our process of thinking and questioning the program and our understanding of the program. Often, we find ourselves at the extremity of thoughts.
We believe in agglomeration of the relationships of mind, senses, and curiosity to question its varied possibility, to explore and iterate based on the core essential aspects of the program, economy, and belonging.
The practice is driven by its foundational of knowledge associated with sensibility and building a comprehensive relationship of ecosystem.
The bespoke solutions are the attempts based on the prioritizing of the essentials with a balance of visual intelligence. We seldom focus on single stream of thoughts or principles but instead adapt and embrace the aspect of learn, unlearn, relearn, with which we believe that each growing experiences unfolds to certain set of learnings which navigates future trajectory.
