Martino Hutz
International practice, research, and teaching have continuously informed Martino Hutz’s architectural approach. After studying architecture in Hamburg, Paris, and Vienna, he graduated with distinction from the University of Applied Arts Vienna (Angewandte), where he studied in the studios of Zaha Hadid and Kazuyo Sejima.
Following his graduation, he joined BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group in Copenhagen, working on projects including Kistefos Museum, Panda House, Västerås Travel Center, CapitaSpring Singapore, and numerous international competitions. In 2019, he established Hutz Architects while continuing to collaborate with BIG on selected international projects.
Alongside professional practice, Martino has remained actively engaged in teaching and research. Following his time as a University Lecturer at TU Wien and Research Associate at the Technical University of Munich, where he researched on 3D printing with salt, he now teaches as Adjunct Professor at Hochschule Biberach and at the Akademie der Künste Munich.
