Skyview Mansion Sales Center, designed by F.G STUDIO, drew inspiration from Jiangnan water towns, local classical gardens, and imperial brick kilns and identified “simplicity, elegance & eternity” as the theme. It took the local humanistic spirit as the design thread, creating a dynamic space that integrates low-profile luxury, purity, and artistry. The project will inherit the local cultural context and give new interpretations of traditions, aiming to provide an upscale, elegant living environment.

Soil House, designed by Tetro Arquitetura, is a place of disconnection and rest through intense contact with nature. For that, the implantation and circulation logic was inverted. In the apartment, they circulate from the social area to the intimate one in a closed corridor between two walls. At the house, they can go from one place to another along a path in the garden or, in the case of rainy days, under a canopy.

Kepler’s Utopia, designed by JG PHOENIX, is a multifunctional corporate space that serves for leisure, gatherings, working, and business negotiation. The spatial design is based on “seeking a tranquil world.” The overall space appears simple yet exquisite, affinitive yet rational, and full of imagination. It features minimalist design languages, incorporates the quintessence of local culture, and is full of emotions. This is a utopia that represents the infinite imagination about an ideal life.

JG Phoenix, otherwise known as Jingu Phoenix Space Planning Organization, is a Chinese design studio Ye Hui founded in 2008. They create spaces in line with Oriental humanism and hope to let people perceive Western logical thinking and the Oriental sentiment of conforming to nature. In addition, they emphasize the harmony among architecture, environment & humans, and strive to touch people’s hearts and enable the dialogue between mankind and nature via simple materials and “intangible” expressions.

Araoz 967 aims to recover neighborhood-scale links, generate a sustainable habitat using materials and spatial configurations as resources and take on the challenge of densifying a developing area of the city respecting its neighborhood character.

Central Mansion Sales Center, designed by GFD, is based on black and white tones and conceives a contemporary context to present the local mountain and water landscape. The spatial layout combines solidness and void, the real and virtual, and the rhythmic circulation route enhances spatial experiences. The project creates a harmonious spatial rhythm and adopts contemporary design languages for deconstruction and reorganization, thereby creating a space full of local charm.

Sticks & Stones, designed by Anna & Eugeni Bach, is an installation that appears light and removable due to its shape and the materials of its construction. While it presents the same shape as it occupies, in contrast to stonelike, heavy, and stable. After the experience, both spaces, stone & textile, heavy & light, vaulted & catenary, severe & festive, stereotomic & tectonic, overlap & allow for an understanding of the cellar that reflects both its reason for being and its opposite.

Caloundra Townhouses, designed by Jasper Brown Architects and Open Architecture, seeks to achieve a rich volumetric interplay of interior and exterior space. The beachside context of sand and surf has informed a refined material and colour palette, with natural earthy tones and crisp whites offset by highlights of ocean pastels. One of the primary design drivers for the four townhouses was an ambition that each one should be able to enjoy the spectacular southerly views towards the northern tip of Bribie Island.

University Campus Izola, designed by Dekleva Gregoric Architects, had to be as permeable as possible, both in physical and visual terms, to enhance the contextual quality of connecting the green outskirts with the dense historical town center. The programs are distributed vertically from more public to less public, where lecture halls are set on the ground floor, seminar rooms, research labs, and offices above.

Kamala Café, designed by Studio Praxis, has a fluid play of nature and organic elements of architecture that interact and assemble a silhouette cast with yellow sandstone. The project is a self-sustaining facility nurtured through SEWA Foundation, supporting women across the city in the everyday economy to enhance their working and living conditions in India. The building recites a tale when it is perceived with delightful details of nature blending with the encircling crafted context.

Axel Springer Campus, designed by OMA, acts both as a symbol and a tool in this transition – a building to lure the elite of digital Bohemia in Germany. The essence of the design is a series of terraced floors that together form a ‘valley’ that creates an informal stage at the center – a place to broadcast ideas to other parts of the company. The design was developed around a series of terraced floors forming a digital valley. Halfway through the building, the valley is mirrored to generate a three-dimensional canopy.

Bonte café, designed by Yen Architecture, desires to bring nature into the project where people can touch with the light and wild nature. The buildings are covered by tall trees and low trees and have flowers, shrubs, and some types of vines. The team kept the color of concrete, timber, steel, and grindstone. They highly appreciate the local craftsmen who, although they don’t have modern machines, have great minds and hands, making the material’s surface emotional and attractive.

Café Camelon, designed by MVRDV and GRAS Arquitectos, unites three functions in a single space with a striking color gradient. The project combines a hotel lobby, restaurant, and retail showcase in the same space. The design uses carefully selected material details to create a color gradient, which serves as a strong visual motif to organize the interior. The main feature of the space is a single, 18-meter-long counter serving all three functions.

Prishtina Sports Hall, designed by ENOTA & OUD Architecture, is an elliptical traffic loop that runs around the bus station and defines the larger urban context. The proposal for the new sports hall maintains this relationship by positioning the building inside the elliptical traffic loop which maintains the bus station as the focus of the space. The arrangement of traffic and communication flows around the building is the main driver for the formal concept.
