Studio Saheb is an architectural and design studio based in Tehran with innovation at its core in the design process. The firm tries to create a space to experience rather than just build a structure for protection, considering economic, technical and functionality constraint, seeking for a dialogue between the metropolis and important architectural elements, between people and space, in order to help the society to grow, having more communication and at the end a better life for everyone through architecture.

2m26 entirely renovated a hundred year-old Kyoto Nagaya House. In order to preserve the soul of the house, 2m26 paid great attention to its original typology, structure and use of materials. Following these first points and inspired by traditional japanese nagaya planning, 2m26 organized the reconstruction of the space in two main parts using the original length of the house as a guide.

Mova, designed by Opus Arquitectura, is conceived as a meeting place, training, and development for the community of teachers. The strategy of loose volumes supported on piles and connected by bridges, dilutes the limits between the interior and the exterior to enjoy the climate and the landscape while taking advantage of the space of an existing parking lot on which it is built. Due to good design and construction practices, the building is LEED certified, gold category.

Earthbox, designed by the architectural firm Equipo de Arquitectura, is an office with the equation of materializing dreams over a bounded Budget. The exercise begins with the experimental transformation process of materials, such as earth, Wood and glass, configuring them between two existing trees: a flame tree, that stays outside but framed, and a guavirá tree, that stands in the middle of the space to share our company.

Bellary House, designed by the architectural firm GRCA, is a residence that forms a microclimate by staving heat and creating cool currents. The outside walls wrap the house in this gesture of protection, pierced only with small and mass produced precast concrete windows that dot this exterior. The windows are kept small with heavy eaves to keep away the harsh sun.

Row House, designed by the architectural firm Connatural, is a residence that is inserted between party walls. It is inserted into a block, in a narrow and deep batch on an existing slab. What is sought is to dialogue with those situations and subtly build a relationship between the outside and the inside. If the world is made of correspondences, the house assimilates it and seeks to generate connections with its surroundings.

Having adopted the subtractive approach and sought for the minimum intervention possible in the overall landscape, the architectural proposal, contemporary yet critically traditional, consists of the harmonic integration of a cube made of fare face concrete hovering over the existing stone mass.

Miring House is a residence designed by the architectural firm AndyRahman Architect with Back to Basics principles. Basics in this context cover the basics of spirituality, materials, and urbanity. The unique angled layout is becoming a design idea. So that is why it has a basic shape of a cube that have been cut diagonally. Nidrabilash, designed by the architectural firm RoofLiners, is a residence that accommodates events, happenings, gatherings, and episodes. The area for the new home was fixed after cleaning the jungle at the south of the existing household just in front of the bamboo garden. Half of the area was divided the new construction and rest was prosed open space. Thus the courtyard expanded keeping the pavilion at its center. It opens up the possibilities to arrange activities, occasions, sports, all year round not only among family members but also for the neighborhood. The absence of physical boundary wall within the site enhances the interactions.

Grace House, designed by Rubén Muedra Estudio de Arquitectura, is a residence of pure, solitary, and geometrically vibrant structure. The house takes advantage of the wide open spaces as a response to the functional necessities of each element. The house is at a 45º rotation angle to the plot, which allows for an extension from interior to exterior on all four sides of the structure. Similarly, the functional program is distributed by sections according to the different uses that each space will have.
